If you have been paying attention then you’d know that your purpose in the gym is to break down your muscle fibers in order to trigger an adaptive response from the body. When you are in the gym you are simply “sparking” muscle growth, but the real growth takes place when you leave the gym. Your muscles have been damaged, your body is in a state of breakdown, and the recovery process has begun. Your body is now in a position where it must adapt to the stress placed upon it by increasing the size and strength of the muscles. Continue Reading ->

This is for all of the beginners out there who want to get started in bodybuilding or just want to start getting in shape. Every beginner should know about what to eat, what to do in the gym, how much to eat, what supplements to buy. For a beginner, it is very important that you execute correct form for all exercises. This means using light weight for many reps so that you will have enough practice at the movement. Once you have become familiarized with the exercises, you can begin modifying them in such a way that you can hit the target muscle with more accuracy and precision. However, I urge that you perform all movements with strict form and light weight for the first month. Secondly, be sure that you properly warm-up and thoroughly stretch before grabbing a weight. I recommend a 5 minute warm-up on the stationary bike or on the treadmill followed by stretching for about 5 more minutes. Continue Reading ->

alchemist“WHEN YOU REALLY want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true.” These words echo throughout the novel The Alchemist, by Paublo Coelho. The author inspires that one should not shy away from his dreams and to find our personal myth and our mission on earth is the way to find God, happiness, fulfillment, and is the ultimate purpose of creation.

The novel unfolds the tale of a boy named Santiago, who has a dream and the commitment to pursue it. After listening to ‘the signs’, the boy ventures in a journey of exploration and self-discovery, symbolically searching for a hidden treasure. The Alchemist, is a stimulating novel that bursts with optimism; it is the kind of novel that reinforces that everything is possible as long as the person really wants it to happen… Coelho lays great stress on good omens throughout the novel and his protagonist unlearns that those who read most are not necessarily great observers and that it’s the observation that man can learn which books fail to teach. Coelho writes: “Simple things are the most valuable and only wise people appreciate them.”  Continue Reading ->

Mahatma had once rightly said,
“Educate a man and you educate one person.
Educate a woman and you educate the whole family.”
Education, in reality, is the most valuable gift that parents can give to their daughter. If a girl is educated then she can opt for a job if the need arises. So she would not be considered as a burden on the family. This would check the social evil of female foeticide. As an educated wife she would be interested in family planning as well…. Especially in the developing countries like India.
Women had less opportunities in almost every field and the time had come to empower them in every area. The rising number of women in the workforce may seem to indicate that they have finally attained a high degree of empowerment. Today women with their smartness, grace and elegance have conquered the whole world. They with their hard work and sincerity have excelled in each and every profession. Women are considered to be more honest, meticulous, and efficient and hence more and more companies prefer hiring women for better performance and result…………Thanks to the globalisation which has immense effect on women empowerment.
Wait…………………………………
This is just one face of the coin, but the other side is very cruel. Continue Reading ->

All in a sudden………… Attacks on Indians in Melbourne, that too racial attacks.

As a routine procedure, everyone including the Prime minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh and leader of the opposition Mr. L. K. Advani have condemned the racist attacks on Indians. External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna is in touch with the Australian Prime Minister Mr. Kevin.
